Web Software Developer and Engineer

Overview

This program provides individuals with no prior computer programming experience the necessary skills to become junior full-stack developers ready for immediate employment. The course covers programming languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JAVA, as well as databases (such as relational and NoSQL/document) and includes webserver and front-end frameworks. Students will learn Agile/Scrum practices. All concepts learned are demonstrated throughout the class with extensive coding exercises, individual and group projects, and a large capstone project.

The program typically runs once per year and includes a vetting process managed by our business partners at Create Opportunity through their on-boarding procedure. To begin this process and learn more about the program, interested individuals should visit the Create Opportunity website at https://createopp.com and sign up for an Information Session using the button located at the top right of the screen.

Upon successful completion of the program with MTC, graduates emerge as qualified software engineers, well-prepared to work in an enterprise development environment.
