Landscape Management

Emphasis is on shrub and tree maintenance, pest control, pruning, fertilization, mulching, mowing, and the use of bedding plants for seasonal color, landscape maintenance equipment, records, maintenance schedules, and bid procedures. The first session meets on campus and the remaining sessions meet off campus.

Stick Welding for Home Project

Learn the basics of stick welding, oxy-fuel cutting torches, and review MIG welding skills. With instructor approval and your own materials, our experienced instructors will guide you through the steps to begin your fabrication project. Previous projects have included artwork, oyster tables, carts, trailer repairs, and furniture. It is recommended to have completed the MIG or TIG welding course first, but it is not a requirement.
