Second Scan Lab session for CVS

This program will provide CNA Quickjob scholarship recipients an opportunity to get job readiness skills, such as Interviewing, Resumes, Customer Service, and Electronic Health Records. There will be some components of Employer Engagement during this week as well. The hope is that more folks will be trained and introduced into healthcare and better prepared for the in-demand occupations the industry is struggling to fill.

Gain the knowledge to implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a proven system of tools and processes designed to organize all of an organization's human energy. It's the way that the people in an organization meet, solve problems, plan, prioritize, follow processes, communicate, measure, structure, clarify roles, lead, and manage. This course is intended for students who are on the leadership team of their business/organization. Students will follow the EOS system annual planning day to reflect back on the previous year and prepare for the upcoming year.

Learn application and scanning methods including transabdominal and endovaginal. Coursework will include information on gynecologic pathology including tumors, pelvic inflammatory diseases and congenital pelvic abnormalities. The use of sonography in the first trimester of pregnancy will be discussed along with the menstrual cycle and its relationship to the sonographic appearance of reproductive organs and surrounding anatomy.

ITIL provides a systematic approach for IT service management using ITIL's best practices and components for delivering IT services to customers. This course is outlined to teach ITIL's Foundational principles and dimensions for managing the many services various IT organizations deliver. ITIL Foundation is a global standard for IT service management. It provides IT leaders, practitioners, and support staff with a practical understanding of the key concepts of ITIL. This course prepares the student to take the ITIL 4 Foundation certification exam. Familiarity with information technology terminology and/or IT related work experience is recommended.

Workplace decision making can be both challenging and rewarding. Although supervisors have the authority to make decisions on behalf of direct reports, most will find more support for decisions (and more cooperation when it comes time to implement those decisions) if stakeholders are involved in the process.

Students will learn medical terminology by analyzing the prefix, suffix, word roots, and combinations used in medical terms. This course is a prerequisite for other courses and medical certificate programs. This course may be used for exemption of AHS 102 PLEASE NOTE: If you are registered for the ONLINE version of this class, the first day of the ONLINE class will meet IN-PERSON. This meeting is mandatory, so that the student can be a part of the online course orientation and receive course materials.
