Midlands Technical College’s Practical Nursing program meets the educational requirements to apply for Practical Nursing licensure in Kentucky with additional completion of 2 hours of implicit bias training within the 5 years prior to license issuance. The Practical Nursing Program at Midlands Technical College is approved by the state of South Carolina Board of Nursing and accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Graduates of the Practical Nursing program are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam.

Program: Radiologic Technology

The Associates of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology at MTC meets the educational requirements of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on the Education in Radiologic Technology. The graduates are certified by the ARRT and the state of SC by the SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association). This meets the educational requirements of the state of Michigan. Michigan does not require the licensure of radiologic technologists at this time. CT and Mammography technologists must be licensed.
