Midlands Technical College’s Practical Nursing program meets the educational requirements to apply for Practical Nursing licensure in Illinois. The Practical Nursing Program at Midlands Technical College is approved by the state of South Carolina Board of Nursing and accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The Associates of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology at MTC meets the educational requirements of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on the Education in Radiologic Technology. The graduates are certified by the ARRT and the state of SC by the SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association). This meets the educational requirements of the of Illinois.
MTC’s Associate Degree Nursing program meets the educational requirements for initial licensure for registered nursing in Illinois. MTC’s Associate Degree Nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Applicants must earn a passing score on the NCLEX- RN. Illinois has legislation pending regarding the NLC.
