The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on the Education in Radiologic Technology. The graduates are certified by the ARRT and the state of SC by the SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association). This meets the educational requirements of Alaska. Alaska does not license radiologic technologists at this time. Licensing improves qualifications, and skilled, qualified techs have the potential to earn more.
