Midlands Technical College President Inducted Into W.J. Keenan High School Hall of Fame

Midlands Technical College (MTC) President Dr. Ronald L. Rhames has been inducted into the W.J. Keenan High School Hall of Fame. Rhames, who graduated from Keenan High in 1973, was one of 14 inducted to the inaugural Hall of Fame class on January 20, 2023.

Keenan High selected the Hall of Fame honorees because they “embody the characteristics of Keenan Raiders and create a lasting impression in the surrounding communities of the greater Columbia area.”

“It is indeed a great honor to be inducted into the inaugural W.J. Keenan Hall of Fame,” said MTC President Dr. Ronald L. Rhames. “To my fellow inductees, congratulations for the outstanding life achievements that led to you being recognized. You are shining stars in the Raider nation.”

Rhames added, “Truly, the strong academic start that I received as a Keenan student was the beginning of my pathway to the presidency of Midlands Technical College, and that, I will never forget.”
