Careers and TRiO Programs (CTP)
CAREERS and TRiO Programs are comprised of the following five (5) federal grant-funded programs designed to assist certain secondary and post-secondary populations.
CAREERS provides support and financial assistance to MTC students who meet certain eligibility criteria.

Educational Opportunity Center provides counseling and information on college admissions to qualified individuals who want to begin or continue a college education.

Educational Talent Search provides support and services to eligible students in grades 6 – 12 in target schools.
TRiO Support Services (SSS) provides provide proactive academic advising, learning skills support, financial aid information, academic mentoring, and 4-year college visits.

What is the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Program?
TRIO SSS is a federally funded college retention, graduation, and transfer (to a 4-year college) program that has served MTC students since 1997! TRIO SSS offers students proactive academic advising, learning skills support, financial aid information, academic mentoring, and visits to the 4-year colleges they may be interested in transferring to. An application process is required due to being funded to serve a limited number of MTC students.
