Monitoring the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and protecting yourself

Midlands Technical College (MTC) officials are actively monitoring the developments surrounding the outbreak of a novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) first identified in the city of Wuhan, China. Cases have been confirmed in several other countries, including the United States. At this time, according to South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), no cases have been identified in South Carolina.
MTC is in contact with DHEC, which is the public health agency taking the lead in South Carolina. As part of DHEC's outreach efforts, it has compiled several helpful resource materials.
