Justin Brown

Justin Brown graduated at the top of his high school class and had the opportunity to attend any college he wanted. He chose MTC.

"Midlands Technical College was the right choice for me coming right out of high school. After graduating in the top 15% of Boiling Springs High School in Spartanburg, I wanted to find a place that worked for me. After one visit to Midlands Technical College, where I saw how nice everyone was and how much I could save before transferring, I decided to make the move to Columbia.

After completing my Associate in Arts degree at MTC, I transferred to the University of South Carolina, where I completed my undergraduate studies in the Darla Moore School of Business with a bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing, becoming the first person in my family to graduate from college. I'm now I’m in Dallas, Texas, serving as the Marketing Program Lead for GEICO. In 2020, I also completed an executive MBA from Louisiana State University.

My college transfer would not have been possible had it not been for the Midlands Technical College environment.
