Midlands Technical College’s Tom Ledbetter Named Ambassador of the Year by Greater Irmo Chamber

Tom Ledbetter, the Associate Vice Provost with the Center for Entrepreneurship and Educational Support at Midlands Technical College (MTC), was selected as the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year. The Ambassador of the Year award is given to an individual in the community who has contributed to the growth of the community and the Greater Irmo Chamber through action and or service. Past Ambassador of the Year winners include Congressman Joe Wilson and Rep. Chip Huggins.

“Mr. Ledbetter’s contributions to the Irmo Chamber have helped us develop a strategic plan and vision to continue supporting the growth of the Irmo business community,” said Irmo Chamber Chairman, John Coleman of Mungo Homes.

Ledbetter was recognized for his work leading the MTC Center of Entrepreneurship, where he has helped MTC students make connections within the Irmo business community.
