Midlands Technical College (MTC) held a ceremonial Navy ROTC Preparatory Program (NPP) signing, allowing MTC students to enroll in the NPP through the University of South Carolina (USC).

The program is designed to provide interested high school students the opportunity to enroll in the NROTC program at USC while taking classes through MTC, potentially saving students thousands of dollars. The NPP will provide scholarships at MTC and at USC.

For more information about the Navy ROTC program, or to enroll, please visit the University of South Carolina ROTC website.

Recently, Midlands Technical College President, Dr. Ronald L. Rhames, was a guest during the joint commissioning ceremony at the University of South Carolina for the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
