Message from MTC President Dr. Greg Little

Dear MTC family,

Helene has caused a big impact across our region – the effects of which are still lingering.

Given the significant number of people grappling with power outages and the ongoing clean-up efforts in the Midlands, MTC feels it is in the best interest of our community to remain closed Monday, September 30. Please continue to monitor your text alerts, the college website, and email for official updates as this situation unfolds.

Overall, our campuses have been fortunate, but we did not escape the storm unscathed. As we work on our facilities, I recommend we all stay diligent in preparing for what comes next and remain active in our community's aid efforts. The SCEMD website (scemd.org) has real-time information on power outages, instructions on safe generator usage, and road conditions.
