Dr. Greg Little Talks with SC Business Review

Midlands Technical College President Dr. Greg Little was the guest on South Carolina Business Review on August 29.  

During the interview with Mike Switzer, Dr. Little emphasized MTC’s critical role in providing workforce development for Columbia-area businesses, organizations, and nonprofits. The discussion included details about MTC’s Business Accelerator on the Northeast Campus as well the expansion of the mechatronics program that is needed with Scout Motors preparing to open an electronic vehicle manufacturing facility in Blythewood. 

“Mechatronics really encompasses any number of skills,” said Dr. Little. “They are the people who can troubleshoot, fix, repair, and maintain the machines that are working in a manufacturing facility.”
