Completing the Maintenance Industrial Technician Training Certificate provides students with the entry-level skills needed to start earning around $20 an hour as a mechanical maintenance technician. Applied Math This course illustrates how math is used in industrial maintenance. Begin with basic math functions, explains decimal-fraction, conversions, and the metric system. Review basic geometry, ratios and proportions, basic algebra, area, volume, circumference, and tables. Explains right triangle trigonometry and other triangular applications in the trade.
