The Associates of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology at MTC meets the educational requirements of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on the Education in Radiologic Technology. The graduates are certified by the ARRT and the state of SC by the SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association). This meets the educational requirements of California. Graduates will need to determine if they need to take an additional Fluoroscopy examination as recent changes have been made to the California Fluoroscopy permit process.
