Veteran’s Education Benefits

Active Military Education Benefits*

Military tuition assistance is a source of financial aid for active duty military that is dependent primarily upon your command. All of our courses, certificates, and QuickJobs are awarded both Continuing Education Units and Clock Hours. Many commands will approve tuition assistance for promotion points, career advancement, and morale purposes. (Generally eligible active duty service members can receive TA at a rate of $250 per semester cap, with annual ceiling of $4,000.00).

*Midlands Technical College will not offer gratuities, favors, discounts, entertainment, hospitality, loan, transportation, lodging, meals, or other items having a monetary value more than a de minimis amount, to any individual or entity, or its agents including third party lead generators or marketing firms other than salaries paid to employees or fees paid to employees or fees paid to contractors in conformity with all applicable laws for the purpose of securing enrollments of Service members or obtaining access to TA funds. Midlands Technical College will refrain from providing any commission, bonus, or other incentive payment based directly or indirectly on securing enrollments or federal financial aid (including TA funds) to any persons or entities engaged in any student recruiting, admission activities, or decision-making regarding the award of student financial assistance.
Midlands Technical College bans any and all means of high-pressure recruitment tactics defined as making multiple unsolicited contacts (3 or more), including contacts by phone, email, in-person, and engaging in same-day recruitment and registration for the purpose of securing Service member enrollments.
