What’s next after I complete this program?

Graduates of MTC’s Advanced EMT program are workforce-ready upon completion of the national and state certification requirements. There is a significant workforce demand for Advanced EMT’s in South Carolina and the Midlands area. Graduates of this program are expected to have a very high placement rate and are educated to meet the current workforce demand by incorporating content on best-practice and local issues.

Advanced EMTs have an opportunity to continue their training and focus on more advanced-level care through the paramedic training certificate program. Paramedics can treat a higher acuity patient and have an expanded scope of practice.
