Basic Skills Education

This service includes providing assistance with obtaining a GED or additional credits needed to complete a high school diploma. WIA Counselors will work with participants and the local adult education centers to find which solution works best for you.

In addition, enrollment into Developmental Studies coursework at the College is available for those needing to “brush up” or upgrade their basic academic skill level before entering college level courses. Developmental Studies offers basic college preparation in reading, math and writing.
