Syllabus Addendum
A copy of the syllabus can be printed from the MTC DVS Webpage.
The following addendum issues are included in the course syllabus and MTC Student Handbook.
1. Cell Phones and all electronic devices will be turned off and put away before class begins.
Consequence: Dismissal from class for the day and must meet with instructor during office
hours before returning to class.
2. Do not sleep in class. Having your head on your desk or closing your eyes during any class
activity indicates you are asleep. Sleeping means you are not here; not being here means you
are absent. You may be marked absent.
3. Do not leave the classroom once class has begun. You may be marked tardy or absent.
4. No Late Work! The only exception is a Unit Exam. See syllabus for details.
5. All assignments are to be "Headed" properly. Assignments not "Headed" properly may not be
graded.
6. Cheating or suspected cheating will not be tolerated. This will result in an automatic referral to
the Campus Life Office.
7. Personal course information given only during office hours.
8. Respect for All: I have the right to teach and everyone has the right to learn. Any behavior that
interferes is not allowed.
