  The Counseling Services Office offers a range of services including career counseling, crisis intervention, brief personal counseling, workshops, accommodations to students with documented disabilities, and community referrals. Counseling services are confidential and are offered at no charge to all enrolled students.

Students come to counseling with concerns such as:

  • choice of college major or career goal
  • impact of a disability on academic progress
  • anger management
  • anxiety
  • lack of self-confidence
  • concerns about alcohol or drug use
  • interpersonal conflicts
  • family problems
  • loneliness
  • depression
  • achievement conflicts
  • procrastination
The aim of Counseling Services is to assist students in setting clear, achievable, personally satisfying goals and in identifying strategies to achieve those goals.
